China:Drei-Schluchten-Staudamm/Kulturrevolution/Hongkong

Hi!
Ich muss in Geschichte eine 5seitige schriftliche Ausarbeitung machen (mit Computer getippt). Das allgemein vorgegebene Thema ist Asien. Ich habe mich nun genauer informiert und was mich am meisten interessieren würde wären die 3 Themen:
Drei-Schluchten-Staudamm
Kronkolonie Hongkong
Kulturrevolution

Unser Lehrer möchte als Überschrift eine kontroverse Leitfrage. Ich habe nun zwar schon wirklich viele Texte über die 3 Themen gelesen, aber mir kommt einfach keine kontroverse Frage in den Sinn. Meine bisher einzige Idee:

Mammutprojekt Drei-Schluchten-Staudamm - Beleg der Moderne Chinas?

Habt ihr irgendwelche Ideen oder Anregungen? Bitte!! Bin für jede Hilfe dankbar.

Wenn du über den Drei-Schluchten-Damm sprechen möchtest, könnte doch deine Frage durchaus ganz gut sein - wenn du dafür auch Gegenargumente hast (mir fielen da schon einige ein). Die Frage ist, ob du da genug geschichtliches hinbekommst. Ich meine, man könnte Vergleiche ziehen zu den großen Umsiedelungen der Han-Zeit, etc; man könnte Vergleiche zu anderen Staumauern dieser Art machen und aufzählen, wie China die alten Fehler wiederholt (was sehr technisch würde).
Gerade im Hinblick auf die ökologischen Aspekte ließe sich sicherlich einiges machen - aber wie willst du das auf Geschichte beziehen?

In dem Fall würden sich die anderen Themen wohl eher anbieten. Hast du da Preferenzen?
