warum ging 1791 die französiche revolution weiter?

In der Verfassung war die Volksouveränität festgelegt und die Macht des Königs auf rein repräsentative Funktionen beschränkt (bis auf das Vetorecht). Der König fühlte sich im "Käfig der Verfassung" eingesperrt und versuchte aus Frankreich zu fliehen. Er wurde gefasst, was eine heftige Diskussion über die Monarchie auslöste, also ob man überhaupt weiter einen König haben wollte.
Schließlich stürmte die arme Pariser Bevölkerung (Sansculotten) die Tulieren und tötete den König. Dann ging die Revolutin weiter und weiter...

Die Verfassung von 1791 war aber immer noch sehr monarchistisch geprägt im Vergleich zu der von 1793. Neben dem Veto hatte der König den Oberbefehl über das Heer und ernannte die Minister. die Flucht hat sicher eine Schlüsselrolle gespielt, jedoch waren auch viele Revolutionäre wie z.B. die Jakobiner noch nicht zufrieden mit der Revolution.
