hallo.
ich weis ja dass der nationalliberalismus ja nis 1848 gut geklappt hat.
nationalismus und liberalismus liefen praktisch hand in hand.
Warum änderte es sich nach 1848 (revolution)
Und warum hat die gründung des Kaiserreichs (1871) die Verbindung zwischen nationalem und demokratischem (liberalem) wollen zerrissen?

1871 hatte man endlich eine "Nation", von Bismarck geschaffen. Mit einem deutschen Kaiser, der auch zugleich die meiste Macht in sich vereinte. 1848 noch hatte er ja die mehr oder weniger demokratische Verfassung abgelehnt und jetzt seine eigene diktiert. Der Nationalliberalismus war also mit der Revolution und der Ablehnung der Paulskirchenverfassung gescheitert.

Man muss das in dem Zusammenhang sehen, dass die meisten anderen europäischen Länder, inspiriert durch die französische und amerikanische Revolution, in ihren nationalistischen Revolutionen auch ein demokratisches Staatssystem aufbauen wollten und wenn trotzdem Könige herrschten, so war die nationale Bindung nicht so groß.

In Deutschland aber schaffte quasi der Kaiser den Nationalstaat und bestimmte auch seine Regeln. Dafür gibt es meine ich auch einen Fachbegriff, aber der will mir partout nicht einfallen unglücklich
