Teaming up with one another for the second time atop the Adidas Nizza Sale, streetwear imprint ALIFE and adidas are evoking interest from a crowd of sophistication, mirroring the aesthetics of art museums in a package themed as "Artist Proof." Its base is largely traditional to its debut back in 1975, opting for a base of white canvas accented by hits of boldfaced black typography, which spell out the pair’s focal feature. Marking each pair along rear lateral face with "Alife®/Shop Art Museum" in a fashion almost parodical, the outers stand as a walking billboard for an establishment that does not exist; rather, it aims to call to the New York’s label hand in the constantly evolving downtown culture in which they inhabit.
The Adidas Nizza Online, a sporty low-top take on retro adidas basketball sneakers is set to arrive in four summer-ready colorways this month: blue, green, red, and pink. All four colorways feature a light-weight canvas upper, rubber toe bumper and retro adidas branding on the tongue. Contrast is provided by a white three stripes graphic, midsole, and outsole on each pair except for the pink colorway, which swaps out the white detailing for tonal pink hits.
adidas will be releasing a special iteration of the adidas Nizza that helps celebrate LGBT Pride Month. Rightfully dubbed the Adidas Nizza Outlet, this version of the model comes dressed in a Cream-based canvas upper complimented by even more Cream hits placed on the laces, lining, and eyelets. The shoe is then given the Pride theme by adding rainbow-like motif on the midsoles, tongue tags and insoles. A Gum rubber outsole rounds out the main features of the shoe.
Adidas Nizza Shoes Both options, however, boast Human Made special touches, namely seen via the medial side zipper and the Japanese text it exposes and the brand’s signature heart logo running across the midsole’s light gum brown makeup. Shades of blue, grey, red, yellow and brown found between both trainers evoke the flair of the model’s late 1970s debut. NIGO adds his brand’s heart logo on the ankle padding of both rugged pairs.
