Ich kenn leider auch nicht das Werk, aus dem das Zitat stammt.
Tipp mal bei google ein: ebert groener bündnis. Die sozialdemokratische Regierung "verbündete" sich mit dem Militär, um gemeinsam gegen kommunistische Truppen vorzugehen. Rosa Luxembourg (einer der Köpfe und die Gallionsfigur des revolutionären Spartakusbundes wurde erschossen)
Zudem hatte die SPD als demokratische Partei ihr Ziel erreicht: eine Republik. Eine Fortführung einer Revolution bzw. revolutionären Gedankengutes, wäre contraproduktiv gewesen.
Die Kommunisten strebten nach einer Weltrevolution, die SPD wollte ein demokratisches System aufbauen und erhalten. |

Hallo Ihr,
ich habe mal eine Frage die lautet:
Es kann vermutet werden, dass führende Sozialdemokraten nach 1919 selbst dazu beigetragen haben, das revolutionäre Geschehen, aus dem die Weimarer Republik hervorgegangen war, in Vergessenheit geraten zu lassen. Diese Meinung vertritt u. a. der Historiker Rürup:
"Die Revolution war steckengeblieben und damit gescheitert - und es war nur konsequent, dass von führenden Sozialdemokraten schon bald nicht nur ihre positiven Möglichkeiten bestritten, sondern sogar ihre Existenz geleugnet wurde. Die erfolglose, gescheiterte Revolution wurde, soweit nicht von rechts gegen die Novemberverbrecher polemisiert wurde, binnen weniger Jahre mit bemerkenswertem ERfolg aus dem Bweusstsein der Mit-und Nachwelt verdrängt. Lediglich die KPD pflegte, ebenfalls in polemischer Frontstellung gegen die SPD und den Weimarer Staat, bewusst die ERinnerung an die revolutionären Kämpfe."
Wie begründet Rürup diese Meinung?
Ich habe wirklich keine Ahnung...wer kann mir auf die Sprünge helfen...bitte
